innov8nz Digital Directory

We built the latest product in the FutureTech stable – Innov8nz a visual directory framework. Our solution consists of both a cloud based server and an iPad client.

It was important that the directory functioned using touch, pinch and swipe gestures that are natural to the iPad. The interface we created has a very spatial feel and users can pinch and swipe throughout this space to find relevant information.

The iPad app has been designed to run without comms. To achieve this while also allowing the directory owners to update their listings we built a sync system that allows the iPad to take a snapshot of the directory from server and run it locally on the device.

Directory owners have access to the system via the cloud-based server. Here they can add remove categories and companies giving them total control over their directory without the need to request changes from FutureTech.

• Currently available on the web, iPad, Android and touch-screen kiosks. Future developments will expand to iPhone and emerging new operating systems.
• The geospatial mapping component allows users to view the locations of all the local and international offices of their company of interest.
• A list of the latest news articles from the company allows users to keep up to date with the most important information.
• Companies can showcase their promotional videos to keep users in the know about their latest advertising, sales promotions, products and services.
• With the ability to send the companies’ contact details to your email address or save them directly to your iPad, building new relations is easy.
